This is an excellent class to learn about the joy of hand embroidery with silk ribbon. Basic stitches and more will be covered in class, referring to the directions in my book Embroidered and Embellished.

This is an excellent beginning class to learn about beads, free-form stitched bead embroidery, with a step-by-step illustration of the design process. In Beadoodlery you will stitch beads onto to a fabric base to create a “doodled” bead pattern. I will provide 4 different heart shapes, though you can chose any design you like for the base.

Class Requirements: Hand sewing skills, and some beading knowledge helpful.

perky pincushionThis petite pincushion is the perfect size for your travel sewing kit. The base of the pincushion, the flowers and the leaves are made from grosgrain ribbon. A scissor fob can be made using the same flower and leaf that adorns the pincushion.
