Class Projects

The Following Class Projects in Embroidery, Beadwork, Ribbon Work and Fiber Art were designed to enhance your repertoire of knowledge and skills in order for you to create and make your own works of art. Each project is available to purchase as a pattern of instructions, or Christen can be hired to teach a project in a classroom format (see below for details).

Embroidery

This category includes both hand and machine embroidered techniques. The materials vary and include silk ribbon, traditional and contemporary embroidery threads and beads in embroidery.

Beadwork

This category includes every thing beaded, including a section mainly devoted to buttons. The stitches include: brick, peyote, right angle weave, and square. There is also a section on combination and unique stitches.

Ribbon-work

Ribbonwork

This category includes everything related to ribbons. Both technique and finished projects in ribbonworked flowers and leaves. See the Embroidery category for silk ribbon embroidered flowers.

Fiber Art

This category includes techniques for garments and scarves; projects for purses and needle work accessories; projects for furniture jewelry (tassels); creative wall hangings and home decor.
