Klimpt Kollage Kuff

Bakelite & celluloid buttons
Klimpt Kollage Kuff

This bracelet reminded me of the famous painting The Kiss, where a woman and man are wrapped in a bejeweled blanket.

The style of this bracelet is similar to the button bracelets made in the 1940's, though the base is not elastic it is made from a beautiful ribbon.

The buttons are sewn down with Wildflower embroidery thread from the Caron Collection. Glass beads and charms can be added around the buttons for extra style and opulence.

all skill levels

This is a perfect project for all of those lovely buttons in your stash!
