The colors in this purse are so feminine. The tapestry fabric in the center was given to me by a student. I also used silk dupioni in a putty and antique rose color.
One of the curved pieced sections is embellished with silk ribbon embroidery with seed beads, glass charms, and fresh water pearls for accents.
The other section is covered with a vintage cotton lace trim, glass beads and ribbon and fabric flowers and leaves.
Rayon upholstery cord is used for handle and the edge detail. |
