Marlena's Entrance

beaded necklace

The inspiration for this piece was an old movie called "The Hotel" set in Berlin with the star being none other than Dietrich.

This is a stunning necklace that showcases vintage and new glass buttons and beads. The buttons are surrounded by beads that cascade from a base of square stitched bead sections. The vintage buttons are used to anchor the middle ropes, and for the closure.

The first bracelet is an original pattern, made from the leftover beads of the necklace using the square stitch to bring them together.

The second pattern was a pattern made for Worldly Goods Buttons called "Jelly Roll Twist".

The last bracelet is made from the "Flapper Cuff" pattern.
